Harvesting method: the Campodarchi vineyard, with an average plant age of 45 years, is the oldest vineyard of the winery and can offer the best Bianchello output. This wine is exclusively produced from the best grapes having reached the ideal stage of ripeness. Vintage is made at a later stage, in October, when grapes are riper. Bunches are accurately selected and rigorously handpicked into small boxes.
Type of terrain: clayey-calcareous
Yield per hectare: 7 tonnes.
Vinification: soft, whole-bunch pressing. Cold, static must decanting. Controlled-temperature fermentation in steel vats.
Barrel-ageing: a small part of the product is aged in new French oak barrels on fine lees (sur lies) for 12 to 18 months, this technique is used to give the wine a richer bouquet and a more intense taste.
Bottle-ageing: at least 12-month bottle-aging before marketing
Alcoholic strength: 14% – 14.50%
Serving temperature: 12°C – 14°C

Straw-yellow to the sight. Intense and complex to the nose with hints of yellow and exotic fruits, apple, plum, grapefruit; genista and mimosa flowers; slightly spicy with a vanilla touch. Well balanced to the mouth, combining hard and soft components, freshness and savouriness, softness and warmth.
