From the tradition of pottery to indigenous varietals Saturday 26 is Sunday 27 April 2014 two days of conferences, tastings and exhibitions at Convento Santa Vittoria in Fratte Rosa

 

gastronomic culture, sustainability and local traditions. This is the sustainable food festival, program in all Convent of Santa Vittoria, in Fratte Rosa, Saturday 26 is Sunday 27 April 2014.

To support the initiative also Cantina Terracruda that will star with its wines within the rich program.

It begins Saturday 26, all 10.30, with the inauguration of exhibition “Earth and Fire”, focused on the double value that distinguishes the different domestic use of terracotta artefacts in the folk tradition, of whom Fratte Rosa was the biggest production center.

At the end tasting of local products and the industry I Nino, accompanied by the DOC and IGT wines of Cantina Terracruda.

In the afternoon, the program continues with two conferences:

ore 15.30 – Sustainability and short chain: some experiences Marche

“Emporio Ae. Experiences of the territory and the actions of fair trade groups”

ore 17.30 – The young Marche agriculture

“The Red Pergola and native of the northern Marche: which markets?”

Speakers: Alberto Mazzoni IMT, David Soverchia winemaker, Sara sommelier Arms,

Ettore Franca agronomist. Moderator: Alfredo Antonaros reporter.

After the debate tasting three of the indigenous grape varieties produced by the Cantina Terracruda, The Pergola Rosso, Aleatico, Bianchello Metauro, and the Famous, ancient blend recovered by the company through a project of rediscovery of old vines. To the wines we will be paired with organic products dell'Emporio Ae.

And to end the day in the name of sustainable food, all 20, Dinner at the restaurant La Graticola, in the historic center of Fratte Rosa.

Pappardelle with wild boar – Tacconi mushrooms paired with "Vettina" Pergola Doc Rosso

duck breast with mashed beans - Rabbit cooked in clay with favetta Fratte Rosa combined with "Campodarchi" Bianchello Metauro Doc Superiore awarded at Lyon International Competition

Dried Sweet matched “Visciola”, aromatised wine and sour cherries
