TASTING NOTES
From the brilliant robe, precious color, the perlage. The bubble is large and persistent.
After a maturation on the lees 36 months it shows a delicate peach pink color. On the nose the profile is soft and complex with subtle nuances of petal and pink apple, a reminder of tropical fruit, pink grapefruit, honey and plaster. Elegant and mineral on the palate with a creamy sip. To the taste, the bubbles caress you, then everything becomes vertical giving many aromas and good persistence with a beautiful savory closure.

History of the limited edition label
The 16 March 1982, the work exposed to public devotion in the cathedral of Urbino, it suffered the violence of a cut in the lower wall, corresponding to the portrait of the client's son, a young man with a curious and questioning air. The work was commissioned to the young Federico Barocci and carried out between 1557 and the 1558, by Benedetto Bonaventura, a man of science and culture from Urbino and his sister-in-law Teodora Coneri, represented by Guido Bonaventura his attorney. In 2017 the work has been found, thanks to the watchful eye of the antiquarian Giancarlo Ciaroni, who recognized the portrait and reported it to the competent authorities. In the same year, the Monsignor of the Archdiocese of Urbino and episcopal vicar for art and culture, Mons. Davide Tonti, entrusted the portrait image to our cellar and specifically requested to dedicate a special label and bottle for the exceptional discovery of the canvas. Our winery has chosen to dedicate to this label, a classic method rosé sparkling wine from Sangiovese dei Colli Pesaresi grapes in limited edition, only 2000 bottles produced, to recall the rosy complexion of the young boy's cheeks. The return of the portrait of Benedetto Bonaventura's son stitches up the wound inflicted on the history of a territory, to Barocci's painting and to Italian culture. The history of the city of Urbino and the history of art are enriched with a new significant chapter and a new special bottle to drink with.
